Crooked Suspended Aloe

People like to ask me about Crooked Suspended Aloe. The first question is, “why suspended the aloe?” and the next one is, “how do you do that?”. The main reason behind suspending the Aloe gel was Radiation treatments for cancer. Radiation heats and burns, aloe cools and soothes. When radiation affects tender skin, it’s hard to find something to help the comfort level.

Aloe Vera gel is heavy

When Aloe Vera gel is applied to the skin it feels heavy. It does have a lovely cooling effect. My thought process was to try and make the Aloe gel lighter. I already know I can add a little Jojoba (also good for the skin) and the two blend nicely. This subsequently did not make the aloe vera any lighter it just gave it a nice texture. At this point I did not know I was trying to “suspend” the aloe I just wanted it lighter.

When I applied Aloe Vera to Radiation affected skin it did feel cool but it just sat there on the top of the skin. I wanted the Aloe Vera to absorb into the skin. I started trying different techniques and stumbled upon Crooked Suspended Aloe.

The Key was Oxygen

The solution I was looking for was as simple as the air we breathe. To explain, I found a way to put oxygen into the mix of Aloe Vera and a few drops of Jojoba oil. The result was wonderfully creamy and light. When it was applied to burns it cooled and it also absorbed. Absorption allows for deeper layers of skin to realize the cooling, soothing and healing of Crooked Suspended Aloe.
