Baby Formula Shortage

Months ago, I was talking to my daughter in law, she said there was a baby formula shortage. They live in Hawaii, shortages show up there first. This was moths ago, the shelves are still empty.

Baby formula suffered many recalls. Chinese metals have been found in formula powders. It was reported yesterday of Chinese metals in candy. The metals were both embedded and lose in the packaging.

Why are Cheap metals from other countries being used in our manufacturing machinery?

When will we understand the importance of being self-reliant? Self-reliance is something my parents taught me; it was taught in school.

Self-Reliant

Self reliance strengthens us. Selling off farmland to foreign countries does not. Supporting our farming and ranching communities and finding ways to farm and ranch using less of our natural resources is how we can support these communities. Which in turn will give us confidence in our food supply.

The world is changing, it has from the beginning of time. We need to evolve and change with it. This means continuing to develop renewable energies to the point they are 100% reliable. It will take some time; we are not there yet. Putting a deadline on gas powered cars before we are ready is useless. The grids are barely large enough for the population, definitely NOT big enough for the population and all electric cars.

Eventually we will get there. This is the great news, but will it be in the next 10 years?

One thing we know, the Earth is in a warming phase. The question is how much humankind is contributing.

Contributing

Breathing contributes because we are carbon based. Driving gas powered cars contribute. Also Volcanoes contribute, the coal used to make electricity at an efficient rate contributes. One problem solved causes another environmental issue. Battery disposal is an issues with solar, electric, wind and electric vehicles?

We need materials to make the batteries, we must mine the earth to get what we need. Just like drilling or fracking. Which is more invasive? In order to understand we need to look at the entire picture.

What does all this have to do with the food chain? Because the Earth is warming and more C02 is in the atmosphere (greenhouse gasses) our plants will produce MORE. Plants grow like crazy in warm weather, that’s why gardeners love it. Our food supply should INCREASE with increasing temperature but it is decreasing. The essential thing to learn is water conservation and targeted fertilization with natural compounds.

Our young are under attack

Why are our young being attacked? A raging Fentanyl issue that is targeting 15- to 45-year-old people. Now we are experiencing a baby formula shortage. All of this weakens the next generation of Americans, and in turn will lower our stature in the world. Fentanyl does not make the user addicted; it kills them. Much more cut and dry than other “modern” drugs.

We need to wise up!! To be educated! And to love ourselves, our lives, also our loved ones and our country above any other. This means saying NO to selling the family farm. And NO to buying cheap metals from other countries to manufacture our machinery. Saying NO to any drug that is not from a pharmacy. On a daily basis just say NO to cheap, junky, fast foods.

It takes self-control but it MUST be done. What are our alternatives?
