Everything Crooked

Everything Crooked started as an idea, one single idea. One idea turned into two and it didn’t stop there. I live on a rim of a canyon, looking at the rim of the canyon looking down to the Crooked River, inside the Crooked River Ranch. We like to live a quiet life on The Ranch, have fun, visit friends. The beginning of the story is I make healthy “stuff”.
teaching is a passion, I taught some workshops. With each workshop “goody bag” I offered Salt Scrubs. Eucalyptus, Lavender, and Mint with Himalayan Pink salt and Olive oil. The participants could choose which one they wanted, I supplied new, empty deli containers.

Crooked Pain Balm

One Night (again) Everything Crooked grew. Recently I woke with sore muscles, I like topical stuff. I fumbled in the dark, found a pain lotion. Only feeling it, to me it felt like Crooked Skin. Why couldn’t I use Crooked Skin as a base for a pain balm. In the morning I Made a batch and it worked beautifully and Crooked Pain Balm was born. The Balm is the bomb!! (nice tag line). This product new, there are two pain balms, one is hot, the other is cool.

I categorized all of the essential oils. The pain oils for what type of pain they are good for. Anti-inflammatory, Analgesic, Muscle relaxing, aromatherapy, neuropathic. the secondary category was for cooling, heating and relaxing. Now I know what oils I want to work with to tackle the pain associated with different pain centers. All of the pain products will be coming soon.

Crooked Spices

One morning (yes morning) before the pain balm I picked up my pen and wrote down a series of Crooked spices related to a cookbook I wrote, you can click here to buy it on Amazon. Crooked Suspended Aloe Vera

Crooked Suspended Aloe is in the works. It sounds a little odd and one would ask why would anyone suspend Aloe Vera? which is a good question. I know someone who had external radiation beam therapy, and the skin gets tender. I thought Aloe Vera would be nice and cooling but it had a “heavy” feeling on the skin making it uncomfortable. So I suspended the Aloe to make it lighter and absorb easier because the particulates are smaller. It did precisely what I wanted it to do, bring comfort to the burns.
